Golf

Even though I'm not an avid golfer, I have, and do play every now and then so I'm throwing this subject on my website just for completeness :) I started playing golf when I was around 13 or 14 when me and my parents would go up to Maine for the weekends. There was a pretty good 9 hole course about twenty minutes away for our cabin and we would go over there every now and then to see how bad we could play. I eventually began to get really interested in it and got my own set of clubs and a bag. In my first year of highschool I even joined the Golf team but only stayed on for that one season. Looking back I wish I had kept playing since the school was funding the playing and I had the opportunity to play at places I would have never played at otherwise. Today I can still hit the ball well enough to play in the low 100's (though I have never really kept score enough to really know what I "shoot") At the range I can smack the balls pretty good, but I don't get out on the links enough to really know how good or bad I can still play. Golf is another sport that has been in my life at least in some part, and I don't regret ever getting into to it.
