Piano

I have been a self-taught natural musician for my whole life.  I play mainly by ear and imitation.  Though now I can "read" music enough to know what note corresponds to which key (with much time).  I love to play classical, and ragtime.  I know many Bach, Beethoven, and Chopin pieces, as well as about a dozen of Scott Joplins Rags.  I'm most fond of Bachs inventions, Beethovens sonatas, and Chopins waltzes.  I spent over a month learning the first movement of Beethovens "Pathetique" sonata, but I felt it was worth the effort.  The complexity just drove me to it.  The first piano piece I actually learned was the first movement of Beethovens "Moonlight" sonata, which I learned entirely be ear.  This is just another hobby I can highly recommend to anyone who finds music, and sound fascinating.
